Inpatient coverage at Trinity Health was the lowest-collecting setting in the group and had the most to recover. Their surgeons operate at Trinity Health Muskegon, which now recovers 24% of the patient cost share it used to lose.
All eight departments in the same week: five offices, an urgent care, two procedure rooms, the surgery center, and both hospital sites. The front desks kept the workflow they had; we added the deductible and the coinsurance to it.
Measured since go-live against the same calendar window a year earlier, read the same number of days after the visit, denied claims excluded from both sides. The strongest office recovers 35%, the weakest 6%. Trinity Health Grand Haven improved but is too small to chart at 119 claims. Raw before-and-after, not a controlled study.
